About B-THAT
We are community members united in prevention. Individually, unique. Together, stronger.
Who We Are
B-THAT supports, educates and helps youth and the community build a positive and healthy future.
B-THAT was developed in partnership with TOGETHER!, the Tenino School District, Educational Service District 113, Thurston County Public Health and Social Services, and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.
In 2010, middle and high school students in the community were asked to participate in the Healthy Youth Survey. Based upon these results and other community specific data, it was determined that Tenino was an at risk community. The Tenino/Bucoda Community Coalition will serve to develop and implement strategies to promote safe and healthy youth as a means of prevention.
Anyone is welcome to join the coalition. Current members include youth, parents, teachers, administrators, local officials, and other caring members of the local community. Meetings are held every 3rd Monday @ 5:00pm online by ZOOM and when in-person meetings resume, they will be held at Tenino Middle School Commons.
